What a weekend! We still get goosebumps when we think back on it! ✨
All those incredible dancers who showed off their skills on the dance floor at Common Ground – The Battle. We feel so honored that we were able to welcome such a diverse variety of dancers from different countries!

What would a battle be without the line-up? We couldn’t have been happier about it and would like to say a big thank you! Thank you to 🎤 Claud and Pit who guided us through the event, 🎧 Boogie G and EarleJr., who simply made everyone dance with their music, to Paris, Muhammed Kaltuk and Diego de la Rosa who judged the Storytime category, Paris (yes again), Poppin Jack and Kriss Boogie for judging the Popping category, Ruth Prim, Ukay and Link, who selected the winner in the Hip Hop category, to our secret judge Mams in the Wildcard Selection for Red Bull Dance your style, to 📸 Yuri Sory for taking the absolute best photos, 🎥 Kevin (RecDot) for capturing all the battles and working until the early hours of the morning, 🍲 Thai Soul Kitchen, who provided us with amazing food and Gladius Security, who looked out for the safety of all! There are no words to express how grateful we are!
And we’re not finished yet! Another thank you to all the helpers who supported us on site. No matter whether behind the registration, the cash register, the bar, the merch both, as driver or as security! We have seen you all and are sincerely gratful to you! 🩵

That was the first edition of Common Ground – The Battle!
The level was high and we are still so so greatful for all those wonderful dancers showing up and sharing their love fir this dance and culture!! We will keep pushing and training and we keep building it up right here toghether! What beautiful, hungry and inspiring vibe through out the day! Our hearts are full! ❤️
It is a journey and it’s just the start of a loooooong road! We want to keep on improving, growing and sharing what we love!
