Ariadna Martinez
Ariadna grew up with her family in the western part of Bern. From an early age, she was inspired by various artists. In 2018, she began taking different dance classes (hip hop, commercial, house) at Tanzwerk Bern and joined the show group 2nd Nation, with which she participated in numerous competitions. In 2022 and 2023, she was part of A Seat At The Table, a production by Anna Chiedza Spörri and Rena Brandenberger. This experience offered her insight into a completely different side of the Swiss dance scene, and she has been working closely with Anna ever since.
In addition to her role as a dancer, Ariadna is also part of the team for Anna’s new production Perspectives as an assistant and technical assistant. Ariadna completed an internship with the London-based company Alleyne Dance and has been part of the mentorship program Dive by Earle Garnette since September 2023. She now trains in the project Common Ground by Muhammed Kaltuk, which brings together dancers from diverse dance styles.
